Reservations and payments. Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation. This deposit covers administrative costs and initial itinerary planning. Non-refundable deposit options: While deposits are generally non-refundable, they may be converted into a 24-month travel voucher (minus a small administrative fee) for a future Wandering Gardener Tour, provided the cancellation occurs before the final payment is made. Final Payment: The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days before the tour start date. Cancellation & Refund Policy We understand that plans change. Our refund structure is as follows.: Written Notice Required. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. Standard Refund: We will refund up to 75% of the total tour cost (paid funds) if a written cancellation is received at least one month (30 days) before the scheduled tour start date. Late Cancellations: Cancellations received less than one month (30 days) before the tour start date are not guaranteed a refund. These will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on specific circumstances. Act of God clause: Cancellations due to factors beyond the control of the client or Wandering Gardener Tours (natural disasters, government travel bans, etc.) will be considered on their merits for partial or full reimbursement.

Moderate daily walking. 10-15K steps per day. Many of our tour locations are outdoors.

Our tours are intentionally limited to a maximum of 10 guests, allowing us to deliver a more intimate, personalized experience with greater attention to each traveler’s needs and preferences.

Accommodations: Lodging is not included in our tour packages. Guests are responsible for arranging their own accommodations; however, we are happy to provide a curated list of recommended hotels conveniently located near the tour meeting point.

Our tours involve significant walking in outdoor settings, so we recommend packing with comfort and changing conditions in mind. Wear comfortable, broken-in walking shoes and dress appropriately for the season and local weather. Lightweight, layered clothing works best to adapt to temperature changes throughout the day. We also suggest bringing light rain gear (such as a compact waterproof jacket or poncho), sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), and a refillable water bottle. A small day bag can be useful for carrying personal items during the tour. Please note that itineraries may be adjusted due to extreme weather conditions, so being prepared for varying conditions will help ensure a comfortable experience.

Wandering Gardener Tours is not liable for injury, loss, or property damage. Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance. Specific visa or vaccination requirements will be detailed in your welcome packet before departure for all international travel, or as needed.

Please note that itineraries may be adjusted due to extreme weather conditions, so being prepared for varying conditions will help ensure a comfortable experience. Guest safety and overall experience are our top priorities. In the event of adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances, we may adjust the itinerary, modify the route, or substitute activities to ensure a safe and enjoyable tour. When possible, we will offer suitable alternatives that maintain the quality of the experience. If conditions are deemed unsafe and a tour cannot proceed, we will communicate promptly and provide available options, which may include rescheduling or a refund in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Flights and airport transfers are not included in our tour packages. Guests are responsible for arranging their own airfare and transportation to and from the meeting point. We recommend booking flights that align with the tour start and end times, and we are happy to provide guidance on suggested arrival and departure windows if needed.
